Crap! I'm overloaded with responsibilities! Admittedly, it's not the kind of overload where I'm losing sleep and sanity-time over it, but my schedule is very, very full. I have several commissions to finish, all of them more complex than my common chibi-style work; I have to get more tattoo art for my sleeve done by NEXT FRIDAY; I'm covering for a coworker's vacation for the next three weeks, which means nasty 12-hour shifts on the weekends; the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II premier is this Thursday (going in my full Gryffindor garb!); my sister is coming to stay for a few weeks; Fandemonium is coming up at the beginning of August; and I have countless other duties to attend to around the house, for my finances, for my pets, et cetera all before school starts up again at the end of August! *dies*
I'm feeling pretty happy overall, though
I've been doing a LOT of art recently, and that always feels good. Unfortunately, I'm not taking any art classes this coming semester, so I'll probably suffer another dry spell after summer. I gotta get in as much art as possible in the mean time! Right now, I'm working on getting a bunch of stuff from the last couple years of AiagKikai meetings scanned and uploaded. Most of it is simple exercises so it'll go in my scraps; I just want to be able to put all the work I've done in the group gallery :3 As I was going through an older sketchbook, looking for Kikai drawings, I found a TON of old drawings that totally deserve to be finished! I'm going to try and remember to get to those at some point. Right now though, it's Kikai uploads, then work on tattoo art and commissions.Four Favorite Features
